Pop legend and Grammy award winner and actress Whitney Houston died on Saturday at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles.Whitney told media representatives that the famous singer died at the age of 48 years.
"At 3:35 in the morning Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at the Beverly Hiltonhotel," local police spokesman said, "Mark Rosen, told AFP.
Whitney is famous for its powerful sound and high-range tones. He dominated the musicaldecades of the United States in the 80's and 90's.

Whitney was born from the family of musicians. Her mother, Cissy Houston, the singerfamous hymns. Whitney's cousin, Dionne Warwick, pop-soul star also famous.

The legend is constantly involved in drug abuse that eventually made a bad career andhealth.

Bobby Brown's success as a blues singer-rhythm flow in the late 80's and early 90's, butthen he is better known as Whitney and husband constantly in trouble with drugs and thelaw.

Bobby Brown was arrested in Atlanta in 1993 and 1995 due to a fistfight. In 1996, he was arrested for driving while intoxicated and at the end of 2003 he was arrested forpersecuting Whitney.
